Nook - your home, together is a household management app that helps you and the people you live with manage tasks, bills, shopping lists, and other shared household information. This Privacy Policy explains what information Nook collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Nook collects only what's needed to run your household space and keep it in sync across your household members' devices.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email address, and profile photo (if provided) when you sign up with email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In |
| Household content | Tasks, bills, shopping list items, shared notes, household goals, inventory items, and special dates (e.g. birthdays or anniversaries) that you or your household members create |
| Household & membership data | Household name, invite codes, member list, and who owns/administers a household |
| Activity data | A log of actions taken within a household (e.g. "Alex completed a task") visible to household members |
| Device & usage data | Push notification token (to deliver reminders), app language/locale preference, and basic diagnostic data |
| Purchase data | Subscription status (e.g. active/inactive) for premium features, processed by Apple via StoreKit — Nook does not receive or store your payment card details |
| Camera | Used only if you scan a QR invite code to join a household. Camera images are not stored or transmitted — they're processed on-device to read the code |
| Biometric data | If you enable Face ID / Touch ID sign-in, authentication is handled entirely by iOS on your device. Nook never receives or stores biometric data |
| Advertising identifier | On the free tier, an advertising identifier may be used (with your permission, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) to show ads through Google AdMob |
Household content (tasks, bills, shopping lists, notes, goals, inventory, special dates, and the activity feed) is visible to every member of that household — that's the core purpose of Nook. It is not visible to members of other households and is not made public.
